An
exciting new addition to the ranks of Anglo European
Studbook is the impressively bred young 2002 Oldenburg
stallion Cloud Nine. Standing 17 hands (172cm), Cloud
Nine is a truly striking looking horse who already
shows that he has inherited his Olympic sire’s amazing
effortless scope and stylish technique jumping, combined
with super athletic elevated paces and a wonderfully
bold yet easy temperament. He is very much the new
‘ultra modern athlete’, the type to breed show jumpers,
dressage horses and eventers. A world class bred Oldenburg
show jumping stallion!
Olympic jumper Lando
Cloud Nine is by Olympic Individual Show jumping Silver
Medalist Lando, who following his Sydney 2000 success
was purchased by Paul Schokemohle to stand at stud
in Germany and jump internationally with Otto Becker.
Cloud Nine’s sire Lando is by Lancier, whose sire
Landgraf and grandsire Ladykiller gives you four generations
of the world’s best progenitors of international showjumpers.
Lando's dam Silvia is by Raimondo whose sire is the
great showjumping stallion Ramiro Z. Her pedigree
also includes the famous Cottage Son xx found in the
pedigree of many of the world’s top showjumpers including
Calvaro, Cathargo Z, Cento, Classic Touch, Ratina
Z and remarkably also in the pedigree of the most
famous steeplechaser of all time, the great Arkle
! Cloud Nine has inherited his striking silver grey
colouring from his illustrious great British thoroughbred
ancestor "The Tetrarch”- the best two miler of
all time !
High studbook dam Clivia
Haupststubauch Clivia is from the famous Holstein
stamm line18b1, responsible for producing many of
the world’s greatest showjumpers and stallions including
the great foundation stallions Farn and Roman.
Clivia is by the International showjumping stallion
Calido whose blood line includes the great Cantus
(bloodline of World champion dressage horse Granat)
as well as Caletto, Coriander, Coviolsan and Calypso.
Calido ranks number one of all German stallions, scoring
the unheard of 10 out of 10 for his jump at the stallion
test. In 2004 two of his offspring stood champion
and reserve champion 6 year olds at the German national
showjumping finals, the winner being sold after for
700,000 Euro’s. Four of his fillies have recently
sold for 205,000, 185,000, 170,000 and 135,000 euros.
In Clivia’s bloodline we also find Corofino, Corrado
and sire of sires Cor De La Bryere.
