Hattrick
is regarded as one of Ahorn’s finest sons. At his
KWPN performance test he finished in the top of his
year, being awarded 8.5 for his jumping technique
and scope.
Talented offspring
His offspring are competing successfully worldwide
such as his son Loro Piana Napoli - champion 5 year
old show jumper of Italy and approved Zangersheide
stallion. His daughter Maureen - a regular winner
on the International circuit, and Crocodile Dundee
- Dutch national Junior champion. His talented young
daughter Victory was recently sold at the Expo Talent
Sale in Hengelo for 110,000 Euro and is now competing
in the UK with Tim Gredley.
Impressive sire Ahorn
Hattrick’s famous sire Ahorn also performed as a showjumper
at International level and earned the title "Olympic
Ahorn" when he was selected for the Olympic Games
at Barcelona in 1992. Ahorn continues the stallion
line of the great sire, "Nimmerdor" through Hattrick,
Furore, Matterhorn and Ohorn and High Valley Z who
caused a sensation in 2002 by clinching the prestigious
Sire of the World title for the second year in a row.
Ahorn also sired the European champion mare Helena.
Famous damline
Hattrick’s damline is one of the most famous in the
world - the ’Loma’ line - renowned for good sports
horses and good conformation. Hattrick’s dam is the
KWPN pref mare Bijloma, by the famous stallion Ronald
(Ramiro Z) whose fame is distributed through his female
offspring, the dam of Libero H being one example.
Hattrick is full brother to international jumpers
- VDL Jupiter ridden by Ulrich Kirchoff and Miss Ahorn
ridden by John Whittaker. In his damline are the Dutch
National champion mares Toloma and Doloma a well as
many international showjumpers. Grand dam of Hattrick
is the Keur Pref mare Sjaloma (by Lucky Boy xx), who
is full sister to the international show jumping sire
US Neopolitan. Sjaloma’s sire Lucky Boy xx is one
of the cornerstones of show jumping breeding siring
amongst others Van Gogh, The Victor and The Freak.
